About the Owner
John Moroney has spent his career building things the right way — from the ground up. A licensed Shell Contractor serving Palm Beach County, John started in the trades as a journeyman carpenter, where he developed a deep, hands-on understanding of construction that most project managers simply never get. That foundation shaped everything that came after.
Over the years, John worked his way up through the field as a Superintendent and Project Manager, personally overseeing the construction of 40+ custom homes and commercial properties across South Florida. He's managed every phase of the build process — from permitting and site prep to framing, roofing, and final inspections — and he brings that full-picture expertise to every project Moroney Construction takes on.
In 2022, John founded Moroney Construction LLC with a straightforward mission: deliver quality shell construction with the kind of personal accountability you only get when the owner is on the job. He takes pride in being a contractor his clients and trade partners can count on by name.
